About the RoleWe’re hiring a Quality Engineer at our production facility "Prairie Forge" in Parsons, KS to help ensure every batch we produce meets the highest standards. You’ll conduct testing, maintain accurate records, and work closely with production teams to safeguard quality, compliance, and consistency. This is a role for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing things right.
What You’ll DoSample and test in-process and finished products
Operate lab/testing equipment and record precise measurements
Document results, identify deviations, and escalate issues to supervisors
Support calibration and upkeep of quality control equipment
Assist in audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement efforts
Contribute to a culture of precision, craftsmanship, and accountability
Must Have
U.S. citizenship with compliance to REAL ID and defense-related requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associates in chemistry/manufacturing preferred
Experience in quality control, testing, or manufacturing environments
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Nice to Have
Familiarity with ISO, ASTM, or defense quality standards
Prior lab testing or chemical industry experience
Strong teamwork and communication skills
