Assess and improve quality control processes, personnel and inspection equipment to ensure QC competency and standardization throughout completions quality control and to drive efficiency. 

Responsibilities
  • Conduct process audits according to Standard Work/Technical Work Instructions and analyze non-conformances to implement corrective actions.
  • Perform product inspections to ensure compliance with Weatherford drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in investigating quality escapes and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
  • Support technical and manufacturing teams in resolving design or process-related quality issues.
  • Review and improve inspection procedures, work instructions, specifications, and forms to enhance Quality Control efficiency, including Supplier QC.
  • Participate in new supplier audits and collaborate with Sustaining Engineering to address drawing issues and implement design-for-manufacturing/inspection improvements.
  • Train personnel on quality procedures, inspection tools, and equipment while ensuring compliance with Weatherford Quality Policy, Quality Systems Manual, operating procedures, and applicable HSE rules.
  • Track quality improvement initiatives and follow up on actions to ensure effectiveness, performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in using various standard inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, hardness testers, and surface roughness testers.
  • Experience in inspecting special processes, including non-destructive testing and welding inspection.
  • Familiarity with API Q1/ISO 9001 standards and AWS D1.1.
  • Competent in computer operations and software applications.
  • Skilled in applying quality analysis tools.
  • Good English reading and writing skills.

Preferred: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; manufacturing engineering a major plus
  • Good English communicating skills.
