About the Role
This position is for one of our technology clients based in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure that operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), driving process improvements, and supporting teams through audits, training, and reporting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure that quality standards are consistently met.
How You Will Contribute
- QMS Management: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
- Audit Management: Prepare internal audit schedules, conduct audits, and review reports to ensure compliance.
- Root Cause Analysis: Support investigations into quality issues and non-conformances using tools such as 5-Why and Fishbone (Ishikawa).
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities across warehouse processes to reduce errors, damages, and rework.
- Reporting: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality performance reports.
- Training: Design and deliver quality-related training sessions for employees.
- Compliance: Ensure all quality data is accurately logged and tracked in relevant systems (e.g., GHSE Tool or equivalent).
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years in quality engineering within a 3PL, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint for reporting.
- Certifications (Preferred): ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to provide timely support and feedback to operational teams.
Please note: This role requires working on-site (Hoofddorp) at the office for 4–5 days per week.
