What you will be doing:
- Understand customer, regulatory and business requirements and ensure there is an effective means of satisfying those requirements, e.g. through the Rolls-Royce Business Management System.
- Protect the customer and the business through the management of problems, either through performing problem resolution or through the coaching of others.
- Perform assurance activities to provide confidence to the business that customer, regulatory and business requirements will be achieved.
- Deploy key performance indicators and effective governance to provide insight to drive improvement in Quality performance.
- Drive supplier maturity and improvement to ensure Rolls-Royce requirements are achieved.
- Enable the business to deliver the goal of ‘zero defects’ through the application and coaching of defect prevention tools and a culture of continuous improvement.

Position Qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification or above in English, Maths, and a Science.
- A Level 3 to 6 apprenticeship, certificate, award, diploma, NVQ or degree in one of the following: engineering or manufacturing, business management, business / continuous improvement, Quality, or a science field.
Preferred Requirements:
- Excellent communication.
- Analytical and problem solving.
- Data analysis.
- Change / Project management.
- Technical aptitude in quality management, quality standards and processes
- Entry level position such as a quality technician, quality analyst or quality improvement officer; or an equivalent role in engineering or manufacturing, business management or business / continuous improvement.
Please be aware that the priority will be given to employees identified as being at high risk.
The professional level and salary of the position will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate but is anticipated to be SNBG7-10.
