Job Description

🚀 The Job Mission
As a Quality Assurance Engineer within the Process Simplification Workstream, you’ll help shape delivery methods as a major nuclear project transitions from civil to M&E installation. You’ll work cross-functionally to review, improve and streamline key project processes.

⚡️ Support the Process Simplification Manager in developing and rolling out simplified arrangements
⚡️ Deliver and facilitate workshops, ensuring all outputs are documented and published in the IMS
⚡️ Manage interface activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment and compliance
⚡️ Conduct assurance reviews and process audits to identify improvement opportunities
⚡️ Support compliance with external standards (ISO 9001, GQAS, Site Licence Conditions)
⚡️ Drive continual improvement through data monitoring, issue resolution, and optimisation
⚡️ Prepare reports, KPI dashboards, and summaries for governance meetings
⚡️ Collaborate with teams across the client Project to embed best practice in process simplification

Qualifications

Essential Skills
🛠 Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements - ESSENTIAL 
🛠 Understanding of Quality/Integrated Management Systems
🛠 Experience in nuclear, engineering, or regulated design environments desirable 
🛠 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
🛠 Strong stakeholder and interface management skills
🛠 Ability to identify and resolve process inefficiencies
🛠 Excellent written and verbal communication

Desired Skills
✔️ ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification
✔️ Knowledge of nuclear site licence conditions
✔️ Experience conducting formal process reviews and audits
✔️ Skilled in root cause and trend analysis
✔️ Familiarity with PLM tools and KPI development
