We are looking for a Quality Engineer who watches new trends on the test automation market, who will help us to maintain quality standards and participate in improvements of our test frameworks. You will be responsible for the quality of our cloud platforms that offer users the ability to seamlessly manage and explore the genomic and phenotypic data of millions of samples. Our cloud platforms work on AWS and Azure and use big data technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work in a highly collaborative agile environment
- Help to maintain high quality of our back ends
- Implement automated tests in order to validate correct functionality
- Set up and monitor tests using continuous integration tools
- Work in a highly collaborative agile environment
- Continuously improve the test tools and frameworks
- Experience in test automation and software quality assurance
- Comfortable with a programming language, preferably Python and Bash
- Ability to orient yourself in complex infrastructure
- Good communication skills
Nice to have
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or Bioinformatics or applicable experience
- Knowledgeable of operational practices including DevOps and agile
- Experience in continuous integration systems such as Jenkins or Github Actions
- Familiar with Unix based systems
- Experience with data analytics
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization techniques
