Job Summary

The Quality Engineer will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL, reporting to Quality Compliance Manager. In this role, you will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, also disposition for discrepant materials.
• Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
• Assures data availability and integrity for all quality related data.
• Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
• Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
• Approves product, process and equipment qualifications.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of quality experience
• Previous CAPA, Audit and QMS experience
• Previous experience working in a regulated industry
• Medical device industry, ISO13485 experience (prefer)
• Data analysis experience (prefer)

Pay Range (Applicable to Illinois)$72,400.00 USD - $99,500.00 USD Annual
