POSITION SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (PSR):
- Monitors and participates in the improvement of quality systems that pertain to pertinent areas of expertise and job responsibility
- Develops and presents QA presentation materials
- Support and assists Senior Quality Assurance Engineers and Quality Assurance Managers
- Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards
- Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards
- Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards
- Performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates
- Monitors, reports, and maintains product launch process as required to support customer and internal requirements for product realization.
- Implement through closure of corrective actions required as directed by customer or internal needed actions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- BS/BA required
• AIAG or equivalent certifications
Experience:
- Requires 2-5 years in automotive manufacturing environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Requires general supervision
- Must be knowledgeable in all customer program requirements and quality assurance processes
