Role Summary
- The Quality Specialist/Engineer is handling tasks to support quality processes and projects and may lead a minimal complexity project or an appropriate scope project area. This position will carry out reviews, data analysis, data summaries, make conclusions and develop recommendations and present out to the team in support of current processes and programs. This position will work with cross-functional partners in R&D and Supply Chain.

Education and Experience
- University’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field
- Professional typically with over 3 plus years technical experience and a demonstrated track record
- Specialist knowledge/expertise: Consumer products, medical device, food, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical
- Contributions focused on functional execution elements; needs some direction

EDUCATION: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a scientific or technical discipline.
EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
0 - 5 years of experience in Medical Device, food, drug or other FDA / GMP regulated facilities.
Prefer demonstrated use of Quality tools/methodologies including DOE, FMEA, CAPA, complaint investigation and trend analysis, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ).
Possess a thorough understanding of statistical analysis and sampling plans.
Prefer familiarity with Medical Device industry regulations including FDA QSR’s, EN 46001, ISO 13485 and the Medical Device Directive.
ASQ CQE a plus
Six Sigma training a plus
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Advanced computer skills in databases, statistical analysis, project management and presentation software, such as, MiniTab, Excel, PowerPoint.
This person must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment and also have the personal skills to work within a team environment.
