Job Description
- Perform incoming inspection of diversfied parts and products
- Verify materials against drawings, specifications, and standards
- Handle GRN inspection and acceptance/rejection decisions
- Maintain inspection records and reports
- Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective materials
- Coordinate with suppliers for rejection, replacement, and corrective actions
- Ensure proper identification, traceability, and storage compliance
- Implement sampling plans (AQL, statistical inspection)
- Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO/quality systems
Diploma/BE (Mechanical) with Exp of 3-5 Years
Additional Information
- Exposure to locomotive (railway), aviation, or defence customers is an advantage
- Strong understanding of quality systems, traceability, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience with RCA tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Familiarity with supplier audits and customer complaint handling
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization (COPQ reduction)
Skills Required
- Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience

- Hands-on experience with root-cause analysis tools including 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone

- Experience with continuous improvement and cost-of-poor-quality reduction
