We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to support the development and manufacture of advanced Semiconductor Test Sockets and Thermal Control Unit (TCU) assemblies. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to grow their technical expertise while working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Operations to ensure the highest levels of product quality and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will participate in quality planning, problem solving, product qualification, process improvement, and corrective action activities while supporting both new product introductions and production operations.

What You'll DoProduct Assembly & Manufacturing Quality
  • Support quality assurance activities for Test Socket and TCU products throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor Manufacturing and Assembly quality performance and assist with data-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Support investigations of customer complaints, internal defects, and supplier quality issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Support qualification and validation activities for new products and process changes.
  • Participate in design reviews, drawing reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Assist with APQP deliverables, process qualification plans, control plans, and inspection requirements.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure a successful transition from design to production.
Supplier Quality
  • Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate incoming material nonconformances and support disposition decisions.
  • Participate in supplier quality improvement initiatives and qualification activities.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
  • Support internal audits, process audits, and ISO 9001 quality system activities.
  • Assist in developing inspection methods, quality plans, and process controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on yield, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Inspection & Metrology
  • Support measurement system analysis and Gauge R&R studies.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of inspection criteria and quality documentation.
  • Work with advanced inspection technologies including CMMs, OGP vision systems, Keyence systems, and automated inspection equipment.
Preferred QualificationsQualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or engineering role.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T and inspection methods.
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Test Sockets, Thermal Control Units (TCU), or precision assemblies
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
Preferred
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, precision machining, or electromechanical assembly manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and process validation.
  • Experience with CAPA, NCR, MRB, and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Experience using CMM, OGP, Keyence, or similar metrology equipment.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, JIRA, Oracle, or other manufacturing systems.
