The Role
Performs quality engineering activities in a manufacturing environment, including identifying process inefficiencies, conducting audits, evaluating machine and process capability, preparing inspection instructions, supporting NPI and prototypes, resolving customer complaints, maintaining ISO documentation, and supporting corrective actions. Oversees OBA inspectors, ensures IPC and customer requirements are met, analyzes process gaps, and tracks FPY and OBA reports.

Job Purpose:

Organize and responsible for a variety of quality engineering functions related to improve quality and reduce cost through quality assurance on quality of conformance to reduce scrap, rework internal supplier material and customer's complaints, Customer interface and support the organization goals in achieving total customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Review and identifier manufacturing problems or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and outgoing product quality, recommends solutions

2.) Audit to ensure that quality controls are maintained

3.) Studies quality capability of machines and process and furnish results to design and manufacturing planning

4.) Prepare inspection instruction correspond to process and product specification

5.) Involves and support NPI/ Prototype

6.) Communicate effectively with team for customer's complaints and provide solution

7.) Know your customer's expectations and drive actions to meet them

8.) Support Quality Management System

9.) Perform related work as assigned

10.) To maintain documentation following ISO

11.) To support engineer, technician and QC for QRQC action whenever issue occur

12.) Handle daily & weekly FPY & OBA report

13.) Supervise OBA Inspectors for daily task, ensuring proper inspection result following IPC standard as well as customer requirement

14.) Process GAP analysis for site document following ISO

Job Qualifications:

Education: B.A/B.S, B.Eng or equivalent years of experience

Experience: 2+ years experiences in manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills: IPC A 610, Quality Testing (PCBA, Electronics component), knowledge of CAPA, and process audit

Preferred Training:

IPC A_610, Quality Management

Job Competencies (define specific behaviors required by job)

Good communication, interpersonal, leadership and team skills

Good Problem solving

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent years of experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • IPC A-610 knowledge or training
  • Quality testing experience with PCBA and electronic components
  • Knowledge of CAPA
  • Process audit knowledge
  • Quality Management training
  • Good communication, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
