Position Overview
We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and standards
Review product specifications and user stories, translating them into detailed test plans and comprehensive test cases
Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to plan and define quality testing for user stories throughout sprint cycles
Execute test runs and document results thoroughly
Prepare clear, comprehensive notes and communicate findings to the development team
Perform retesting to ensure defects are resolved and the product is ready for Product Owner acceptance
Conduct regression testing to ensure scheduled deployments do not impact existing functionality
Identify areas suitable for test automation and recommend effective solutions
Support continuous improvement initiatives across QA processes and team practices
Utilize tools such as Rally to manage test cases and track defects
Perform and document root cause analysis on identified defects
Test RESTful and SOAP APIs to validate integration and backend behavior
Apply strong SQL skills to query, validate, and analyze complex datasets, supporting backend and data‑driven testing
Required Skills & Experience
Experience with Generative AI development tools
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Experience working within Agile development teams
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and technologies
Proven experience translating requirements into clear, actionable test cases
Strong communication skills with excellent documentation capabilities
Experience working with databases, strong SQL proficiency, and hands‑on automation testing skills
Nice to Have Skills
Demonstrate hands on experience with AWS cloud services
Perform API automation
Hold mainframe experience to support testing of legacy and core systems
Develop automation frameworks for Regression and Smoke test suites
