QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, or related engineering field.
- 8+ years of aerospace structures / Nacelle quality or manufacturing experience.
- 4+ dedicated Aerospace experience
- Hands on experience on PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) preferably aerospace structures / Nacelles
- Develop Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) deliverables
- Works on Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, Apollo, 5 WHYs, 8D, etc.).
- Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control. Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with manufacturing and development personnel.
- Create, review, and execute quality control plans, flow charts for incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products
- Strong understanding of ISO9000 or AS9100, FAA Part 21 and structural conformity requirements.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred)
- Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes.
Preferred Skills
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical views that translate raw data into clear operational insights and recommended actions.
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Familiarity with digital QMS / PLM tools
