Support production and customers by troubleshooting quality issues, performing inspections, monitoring scrap, documenting corrective actions, maintaining process and supplier quality records, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Field Service to drive continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to the immediate needs of production or the customer by troubleshooting and assisting with problem-solving and quality concern resolution (5-whys; Cause/effect diagrams; etc.). Document problem resolutions and corrective actions.
- Work with Sales, Field Service, and representatives to understand, define, and communicate customer expectations, including customer satisfaction measures.
- Monitor and help control scrap, including pare to and corrective action analysis. Where appropriate, provide for disposition of non-conforming material in a timely, economical manner and assure the proper preventive action is taken.
- Develop, revise, and maintain process documentation to support quality improvement.
- Measure and analyze key quality performance data; make recommendations on specific opportunities to improve quality.
- Maintain relationships with the Engineering Department regarding quality standards, inspection and test methods, supplier needs, drawing and specification clarity, and completeness.
- Assist to accomplish in-process, final, and vendor inspection tasks as required.
- Where appropriate, in cooperation with Purchasing, communicate to suppliers to identify and correct quality problems. Support vendor quality objectives. Maintain appropriate supplier and component history and records.
- Facilitate resolution and communication of customer problems identified through LifeLines (Corrective Action system).
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree from a 4 year College or University
- AND two years of related experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with ISO9001 quality requirements.
