Main Responsabilities
- Is responsible for achieving departmental/area goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with semi to highly skilled quality employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products and execution of processes within established delivery, quality, safety and cost standards.
- Is responsible for analyzing production problems and following up on the solution given by ME,SQE or PE groups as well as updating inspection controls and deploying product containments that solves the reported problem as a short term action.
- The Quality Engineer is also the first-line liaison between the assigned customer in USA and ME, production & management staff teams and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the customer contacts.
What Skills You Need
- 1.5 or more years of Experience in Quality/Manufacturing OFP/EPDP processes
- 1.5 or more years of Welding & Machining medium/advanced knowledge
- 1.5 or more years of Advanced GD&T interpretation
- 1.5 or more years of KOTEM or similar measurements software (display & interpreting results)
- 1.5 or more years of using basic Planning and Organizing tools, so can identify priorities and track deliverables.
- 1.5 or more years of using basics policies, procedures and metrics related to the Order Fullfillment Process (deviations, OpsX, PPM, DPU, SCRAP, Problem Resolution-8Ds etc)
- 1.5 or more years of practicing Verbal Communication with team members, customers and other department coworkers
- 1.5 or more years working with negotiation skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Welding Certification in COMIMSA or similar.
- Metal Fab Basic knowledge (Sheet metal laser/plasma cutting & Press Brake Bending)
- Knows the basic Health and Safety principles and guidelines that the operations need to comply with.
- Experience in managing Wage employees
- Knows how to review and report the most relevant and important information about the owned area/tasks.
- Has an adaptive Mindset
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering or similar
