Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Avantor is looking for a QA Engineer/Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at our Hillegom or Tilburg location. In this role you work on behalf of QA on the quality systems that enable us to make Single Use assemblies and the supporting Hardware Systems. As part of our enthusiastic QA team, you contribute to delivering innovative products to our customers in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry. Your focus is on the continuous improvement of the quality systems with which you ensure that our customers always receive products of the same high quality. You will be in regular contact with our customers and suppliers, and internally you work closely with other 
departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations. 

The team 
You will join a collaborative team of Quality Inspectors, Specialists and Engineers who all work together to guarantee the quality of our products. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. 

What we are looking for 
• Education: Bachelor’s degree / HBO work and thinking level, in Engineering or a related field 
• Experience: Preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical or manufacturing 
industry in a QA or Engineering role. You have experience with creating, maintaining and 
monitoring quality programs.
• Language: good knowledge of both Dutch and English language 
• You have experience with quality systems Change Control, CAPA, Deviation and Complaint 
investigations, including root cause analysis tools. 
• Demonstrable Technical, Qualification and Validation experience is an advantage 
• You enjoy collaborating with several departments and have good communication skills. 
• You are proactive and solution oriented. 
• You are detail-oriented and able to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently.

• Review and Reporting and of the Quality Metrics 
• Initiating corrective and preventive measures 
• Planning and coordination the QA training program 
• Management and control of the documentation system 
• Managing the Supplier Qualification program 
• Handling customer audit requests and hosting customer audits 

• Supporting Global harmonization projects 
• Leading, coordinating, and maintaining the validation, calibration, and environmental monitoring program for the relevant QA aspects. 
• Supporting Validation documentation 
• Qualifying equipment
