Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as a Quality / Test engineer for Java application
- Execute functional, integration, P2P testing for complex Java-based applications
- Independently troubleshoot automation failures, analyze logs, debug code, and identify root causes
- Enhance Automation Frameworks as per the Project / Design needs
- Setup and Implement CI / CD automation pipelines using system like GitHub actions, Maven, and Docker
- Deliver within an Agile (scrum) environment
- Assist in sprint planning, estimation, requirement analysis and review
- Collaborate with stakeholders to plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
- Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases against various micro services, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA activities
- Document processes and procedures in managing services and making sure best practices are always followed
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing manual and automation test scripts
- Hands-on experience in automation framework enhancements (modularization, utilities, reporting plugins, grid setup, CI integration)
- Solid experience in Manual and Automation Testing across web, API, and database layers
- Experience delivering BDD-based automation solutions using Cucumber for UI, API, and DB validation
- Proven experience with Hybrid Automation Frameworks design and implementation
- Experience with Performance Testing using JMeter, Gatling
- Experience with version control systems including Git, GitHub, and GitLab
- Expertise in API (Web Services) Testing using REST Assured and Karate framework
- Solid background in Database Testing with hands-on SQL for data validation
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes
- Solid understanding of end-to-end test strategy, test planning, and defect lifecycle management
- Usage of AI tools in the testing lifecycle, and implement AI agent workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure)
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional agile teams
- Proven ability to update or enhance Testing
- Proven ability to take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
