Responsibilities:
- Perform product tests and inspections for outgoing shipment and semi-finished products as planned.
- Make the judgment to inspection results in accordance with specific protocol.
- Conduct product/process audit as planned by supervisor/quality engineer.
- Perform reliability and other tests in accordance with the test plan and specification.
- Report the deviation and nonconformance during daily work to supervisor/quality engineer.
- Work with supervisor/quality engineer and contact manufacturers for quality issue investigation to avoid reoccurrence.
- Document and deliver aforementioned-data and information in a timely manner.
- Perform other tasks appointed by quality engineer or supervisor.
- Lead the inspector team and monitor team performance if needed.
Qualifications:
- Secondary education.
- At least 4 years’ experience in quality inspection and process audit.
- Skillful in using inspection gauges/tools and international sampling standard.
- Skillful in writing quality reports, using Excel or other common reporting tools.
- Experience with inspecting electrical or mechanical products is preferred.
- Experience with inspecting cardboard products is preferred.
- Be willing to communicate with stakeholders in tough topics.
- Experience with leading small team is preferred.
- Skillful in reading and writing English.
- Fluent in speaking Chinese.
Accountabilities:
- Report the deviations and nonconformance than the requirements.
- On time perform the inspection and audits as planned.
- Supports supervisor/quality engineer on other specific tasks.
- Improvement actions verification and follow up.
Relationships:
- Reports to SR QA Supervisor.
- Works with contract manufacturer engineers and other teammates.
- Works with Pet Safe Brands’ design/sustaining engineers, quality engineers and QA inspectors.
