Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
Test Automation Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the test automation strategy across Finance and Risk portfolios.
- Establish automation standards, frameworks, and best practices aligned with enterprise QE objectives.
- Drive shift-left testing and continuous testing adoption across Agile and DevOps teams.
- Create automation roadmaps to improve quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
Automation Framework Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for:
- API Testing
- UI Testing
- ETL/Data Validation Testing
- Regression Testing
- Batch and Mainframe Testing
- Ensure frameworks are reusable, maintainable, and integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
Finance & Risk Domain Quality Assurance
- Lead automation initiatives for:
- Regulatory Reporting
- Financial Reporting
- Risk Management Systems
- Basel and Capital Reporting
- Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Liquidity Risk Platforms
- Validate complex financial calculations, data transformations, and reporting controls.
Data Quality & ETL Testing
- Develop automated validation solutions for large-scale data warehouses and risk data platforms.
- Automate reconciliation between source systems, staging layers, and reporting platforms.
- Ensure data lineage, completeness, accuracy, and integrity across Finance and Risk applications.
DevOps & CI/CD Enablement
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Enable automated test execution within build and deployment processes.
- Establish quality gates and release readiness criteria.
- Monitor automation execution results and quality metrics.
AI & Intelligent Testing
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled testing solutions.
- Implement self-healing automation capabilities and intelligent test generation.
- Leverage predictive analytics to identify risk-prone areas and optimize test coverage.
- Explore GenAI opportunities to improve QE productivity and efficiency.
Governance & Quality Metrics
- Define KPIs and quality dashboards for automation effectiveness.
- Track automation coverage, defect leakage, execution efficiency, and release quality.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise risk, audit, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality governance forums and architecture reviews.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with Business, Technology, Product Owners, and Program Leadership.
- Collaborate with Architecture teams to influence quality-by-design practices.
- Manage vendor teams and ensure delivery aligns with quality objectives.
- Provide executive-level updates on automation progress and risk mitigation.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentor QE Leads, Automation Engineers, and SDETs.
- Build automation capabilities across multiple delivery pods.
- Conduct framework reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering excellence.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing effort through automation.
- Improve test execution efficiency and release cycle times.
- Standardize testing processes across Finance and Risk programs.
- Promote engineering practices that enhance scalability, reliability, and operational resilience.

- BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline; or equivalent practical experience
