We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Quality Engineer II at our Chesterfield, MO facility. We offer a flexible 4-day work week with a 10 hour/day schedule. This role supports the manufacturing environment by ensuring product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Chesterfield, MO facility.
Role Responsibilities:
Initiating internal continuous improvement quality projects.
Facilitating effective corrective actions internally and externally and includes dealing with internal personnel as well as customers, suppliers, etc.
Supporting third party quality audits.
Develop quality procedures to maintain controls of processes.
Responsibility for customer certifications and product measuring and testing.
Effectively developing and leading cross-functional process improvement teams.
Transferring best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams.
Applying Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
Demonstrating successful application of new methodologies to improve product and process quality.
Leading internal auditing of established management systems.
Investigating and determine root causes for internal and external rejections, implement preventive corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in engineering or Technical field
3+ years of quality and manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or Technical field
Preferred Aerospace Experience such as AS9100, FAA-PMA
Preferred DMIR, DAR, DQR experience
