Your mission & challenges
You'll take ownership of building and ensuring robust product and process quality for the humanoid robot 4NE1 – from prototype through to industrialization into series production.
Your responsibilities:
Own product and process quality for the 4NE1
Handle customer complaints and build a structured complaint management system
Plan and conduct product, process, and supplier audits
Create and maintain inspection plans, control plans, PFMEA, and quality standards
Build a central quality database and a lessons-learned system
Introduce a Quality Management Board with daily quality routines
Analyze quality deviations (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa) and define sustainable corrective actions
Define and manage quality KPIs (FPY, PPM, rework, scrap, cost of quality, audit score)
Work closely with development, production, purchasing, logistics, and process engineering
Approve engineering changes and support industrialization
Support EOL testing and product validation
Drive supplier development and quality improvement across the supply chain
Build a zero-defect and continuous-improvement culture
Prepare the organization for series production and customer approvals
You'll be measured by:
First pass yield, PPM, rework rate, audit compliance, engineering change lead time, customer complaints, supplier quality

What We Do
NEURA Robotics is a German high-tech company founded in 2019 in Metzingen near Stuttgart with the vision to revolutionize the world of robotics. More than 180 team members from over 30 countries are working on advanced technologies in the fields of environmental perception, drive and control technology, material science, mechanical design, and artificial intelligence. We are expanding the cognitive capabilities of robots and make breakthrough advances in a variety of areas to bring robots and humans closer together, making many areas of work more attractive, creative, and social again. That's why everything we do runs under the guiding principle "we serve humanity". In a very short period of time, NEURA Robotics has developed robots and technologies that are characterized above all by their outstanding performance as well as safe and human-centred way of working. In this way, a wide variety of application fields can be covered, from intelligent production to medical technology. All major robot components are developed and designed in-house.
