About The Job
The role designed for you:

As a Quality Engineer you will report to the Quality Manager of the plant, within the Business Unit Self-Adhesives and you will be supporting the Responsible and the team for ensuring that the company's products and processes meet the highest quality standards, in compliance with current regulations and company policies. This role is crucial to contribute in improving the quality management system, fostering a culture of quality across all business functions, from raw material sourcing to final product delivery.

The impact you'll have

  • You will monitor and analyze business process performance through internal audits and KPIs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • You will support the quality control team to ensure efficient control of production processes and finished products.
  • You will conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, errors, and customer complaints.
  • You will collaborate with Production, R&D, Procurement, Logistics and Sales departments to resolve quality problems.
  • You will support the development and implementation of plant projects to improve process control & quality and reduce defects. Work includes data collection analysis, development of processes, training, monitoring/audits, and the development of new test methods.
  • You will plan and implement corrective actions and long-term development for claims and internal quality problems
  • You will support the Manager in preparing and presenting periodic reports to management on quality metrics and continuous improvement plans.
  • You will take part in meetings with customers and suppliers to identify issues and solution
  • You will maintain high level of communication with and between all teams

The Attitudes And Skills We’re Looking For

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields. A Master's in Quality Management is a plus.
  • You have previous experience in quality roles, preferably in manufacturing environments.
  • You have organizational skills and analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement techniques is an advantage.
  • You have good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You are flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.
  • You are fluent in Italian and English, Spanish will be considered as a plus
