About the Role: 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Quality Engineer who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.
We are seeking a Quality Engineer/SDET to implement test automation solutions to help ensure application quality on each deployment. As an engineer in this role you will partner with application developers to help us design and build great automated tests, and help ensure delivery of products with high quality and a great user experience overall. Also you will help our team build a strong quality engineering practice here at Sezzle.

Compensation

Sezzle is a remote U.S.-based company listed on NASDAQ. Our salary ranges are as follows:

• $1,600 - $3,333 USD gross per month (Based on experience and performance during the process)

Key Role Responsibilities: 

• Develop test plans alongside product designers and product engineers. 
• Implement automated tests, and work within the QE team to build supporting test infrastructure. 
• Partner with product engineers and product designers to ensure test coverage.
• Contribute improvements to test framework architecture and test implementation.
• Adhere to best practices in code health, testing, testability and maintainability (clean code, page object pattern, test pyramid strategy, etc.). 
• Recommend improvements into overall best practices including design, testability, quality, delivery and productivity. 
• Provide or coordinate manual testing as needed to support application releases and until those scenarios can be automated. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related field
• 1 -3 years of experience in quality engineering

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with WebdriverIO, and Grafana k6 or related tools 
• Experience with JavaScript, and Golang or related language 
• Basic knowledge of AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
• Team player eager to learn and drive testing excellence
