Allison Off-Highway and Motion Systems is seeking to fill the position of Quality Technician in Sterling, Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of product
- Conduct in process audits
- Address all internal quality issues, quality awareness training
- Handle document control programs in Compliant Pro Database
- Conduct receiving inspections
- Recommend modifications of quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality
- Interpret engineering drawings and Specs
- Maintain calibration system.
- Work with suppliers on quality related topics
Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of gage usage
- Good communication skills and ability to work with all departments
- Computer literate
- Basic understanding of Quality principles
- Familiar with quality principles of ISO/QS 9000 systems
- Ability to work overtime as needed
