Quality Coordinator - Santa Fe Springs, CA


Brief Description:


Askew an AFC Industries Company is looking for an honest, dependable, communicative, and motivated, team member to add to our quality team. The role will involve activities such as verifying documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and regulations; sorting, filing, labeling, and indexing documents in physical or electronic systems; retrieving, copying, scanning, and distributing documents as needed; updating and maintaining records and databases; archiving, purging, and destroying documents according to retention schedules and policies; responding to requests and inquiries from internal and external parties; following security and confidentiality protocols; and reporting any issues or discrepancies. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
  • Understand and follow all company rules and regulations. 
  • Generate and issue certification to customers including supporting alternate organizational locations, as necessary.
  • Scan and archive all issued customer certification copies into the operational database.
  • Expedites, follows up and provides updates on all in process manufacturing work orders.
  • Schedules pick-ups and deliveries of manufacturing work orders.
  • Complete special projects for Quality Manager and/or designee as required.

Education/Credentials:

  • High School education (or in-house training will be provided)
  • Understanding of English with good grammar skills
  • Intermediate typing proficiency, basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal required
  • Ability to multitask when the need arises
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts

Hourly Pay:  $21.00/hour

Work Hours:  MONDAY-FRIDAY 7:30AM TO 4:00PM
