Job Description

. Detailed Tasks of the Role:

  • Personnel management, including all related individual tasks (initiating disciplinary measures, employee appraisals, performance reviews, staff development, etc.)
  • Ensuring effective workforce planning (vacation and shift scheduling)
  • Participation in personnel and CAPEX planning
  • Participation in handling customer complaints and deviations
  • Independent, continuous development of the area of responsibility
  • Taking responsibility for (partial) projects within a defined scope
  • Ensuring continuous audit readiness
  • Maintaining a trustworthy collaboration with internal and external interfaces (e.g., production departments, Technical Support, Customer Service, plant management, TCC/SEC)
  • Independent compliance with standards, legal requirements (e.g., working hours act, occupational safety regulations), and internal company regulations (SOPs, works agreements, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Required Education / Qualifications:
Completed technical vocational training and advanced qualification as a technician or master craftsman, with at least 5 years of experience in a comparable role with leadership responsibility in a quality-related environment.
This position requires specialized knowledge in quality management combined with leadership experience.

 Required Professional Competence:

  • Advanced knowledge of leadership methods (e.g., conducting employee discussions, personnel development)
  • Good IT application skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, MES & ERP systems)
  • Excellent knowledge of required Quality Management (QM) guidelines
  • Advanced knowledge of testing procedures and measurement technology
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., products and production processes)
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)

Required Social Competence:

  • Leadership skills, especially role model behavior (integrity, transparency, appreciation, persuasiveness)
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • High level of initiative
  • Resilience and stress tolerance

Required Methodological Competence:

  • Preparation of technical reports
  • Knowledge transfer (instruction, didactics)
  • Strong assertiveness
  • Good analytical and conceptual abilities
