Quality Control Supervisor

We are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our Brampton, ON team!

Our Quality Control Supervisor plays a key role in you will play a key role in continuous improvements to maintain the highest standards of quality of special processes related to shot peening and non-destructive testing (NDT).

Location: Brampton, ON

Salary: $70,000 - $73,000

Your Challenge

  • Monitoring and inspecting of quality of materials, product, services to ensure compliance with documented procedures and drawing requirements.
  • Manage the calibration recall process and database, process quality instruments requiring calibration on a monthly basis, coordinate outside services for calibration
  • Assist with development of new and existing parts
  • Ensure work environmental conditions do not adversely affect the quality of products and services.
  • Overseeing, monitoring, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to meet quality standards.
  • Generate non-conforming material reports (NMRs)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, follow-through and complete assigned tasks.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure procedural/process compliance.
  • Keep track of training records for new and current employees, making sure all training is up-to-date.

What You Bring

  • 1 - 2 aerospace experience
  • 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Bachelors or diploma within a technical field of study
  • Working knowledge of NADCAP, AS9100, and OEM aerospace standards
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
  • Experience with corrective action systems and root cause analysis
  • MS Office Suite proficiency
  • Great communication skills, verbal and written

Preferred

  • NADCAP audit experience (Shot Peening and/or NDT)
  • Shot peening technical training or certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
  • Experience with aerospace OEMs (GE, Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Boeing, Airbus, etc.)
