Description
The Quality Control Specialist is a key member of the Quality team, responsible for conducting operational audits, verifying process adherence, and working cross-functionally to resolve quality issues. This role plays a pivotal part in upholding customer satisfaction and continuous improvement efforts across sites.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Conduct one (1) quality layered audit per site, per week, with full documentation and reporting.
- Coordinate post-audit actions including scheduling team reviews, organizing training or re-training, and driving corrective actions to closure.
- Review customer non-conformance reports (NCRs), perform initial investigations, and draft preliminary responses.
- Partner with site leadership to schedule and execute NCR-related standdowns and track team participation.
- Perform and document routine Verification & Validation (V&V) audits.
- Conduct photo verifications as required, based on site-specific targets.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Auditing or Quality Assurance preferred.
- Solid understanding of operational workflows, quality control processes, and corrective action methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
