The Role

Quality Control Specialist

Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is looking for a Quality Control Specialist. This is an entry level position!

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for assigning and maintaining deviations in regard to non-conforming products by auditing the manufacturing and inspection processes, reviewing the quality documents related to the manufacturing and receiving processes and documenting the investigations through the quality management system. You will actively assist with inspections, sorting and reworks. You are also encouraged in identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
 
You will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead Investigator for Non-Conformance Reports
  • Creation and control of Non-Conformance Reports and related documentation
  • Perform manufacturing floor in-process audits
  • Review documentation
  • Assist manufacturing with rework in-process inspections
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Assist in other various projects with the non-conforming products team as needed

 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills; detail-oriented mind-set and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong communications and technical writing skills. Able to effectively interact and communicate across all levels of the organization.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

  • Developed investigation skills (RCA, DMAIC, KATA)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in moderate level PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with a QMS system, Agile is preferred
  • Experience with an ERP system, Oracle is a plus 
  • Previous Quality Control experience
  • High school diploma or GED
