A Day in the Life:- Make product release decisions by evaluating quality data and determining whether finished goods meet established quality standards and are approved for market distribution.
- Perform quality inspections and audits of products, components, and materials to ensure compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
- Accurately record contract packing facility information in the Quality Control data tracking system. Monitor manufacturing and supplier processes to identify quality issues, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Audit, review and maintain quality documentation, inspection records, test results, and non-conformance reports in accordance with company procedures required by QC from each co-manufacturing facility. File, archive completed documentation.
- Collaborate with department leadership to execute quality control initiatives, address quality-related challenges, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Chemistry, Food Science, or related field of study. Equivalent experience in quality control, quality assurance, food safety or process auditing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, Supplier Quality.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage Industry Preferred.
- Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Suite (focus in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams). Exposure/experience with SAP Quality Module (ECC and S4 HANA) is preferred. Exposure, experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Preferred Certifications: HACCP/ Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certified preferred.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluency in English in both written and spoken is required.
