About the Role 

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager that will be responsible for overseeing and enforcing quality control processes across construction projects in and around Monroe, LA to ensure compliance with industry standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role partners with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement while ensuring construction activities meet or exceed established standards.



Core Responsibilities

  • Quality Program Leadership
    • Develop, implement, and enforce quality control procedures, policies, and guidelines for construction projects.
    • Lead the development and execution of inspection checklists, non-conformance reports, and audit trails.
    • Promote a culture of quality within the organization, encouraging feedback and ideas for process improvement.
    • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure projects meet or exceed requirements.
  • Inspections and Compliance
    • Conduct inspections and assessments of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
    • Oversee and conduct regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and finished products on-site.
    • Ensure construction projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding quality standards.
    • Identify quality issues or defects in construction processes and collaborate with project teams to resolve them.
  • Collaboration and Training
    • Review project plans and specifications to confirm alignment with industry standards and client expectations.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure quality expectations are met from initiation to completion.
    • Participate in pre-construction meetings and ongoing project reviews to address quality concerns at each phase.
    • Provide training to staff, subcontractors, and vendors on quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
    • Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities and share with senior management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
    • Track and manage key quality metrics to monitor project progress and performance.
    • Identify areas for improvement in construction processes and develop strategies for quality enhancement.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with construction codes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience conducting site inspections and audits.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
