- Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient testing of software products
- Establish quality standards and best practices for software development and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives are met throughout the software development lifecycle
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities, including test planning, test execution, and defect management
- Identify, track, and report on key quality metrics and trends to drive continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and software testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 - 10 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test planning, test execution, and defect management
- Experience with test automation and manual testing
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of QA engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
