Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. 

Job Description

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with specifications throughout the value chain.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections according to the test plan, excluding large-scale measuring equipment such as coordinate measuring machines or Zwick testing machines.
  • Perform product-specific measurements, such as particle analysis, to verify quality standards.
  • Carry out special measurements on components and assemblies as per defined specifications.
  • Approve production orders, such as batch start-ups, by verifying quality control parameters.
  • Validate test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Respond promptly to deviations in accordance with internal processes and protocols.
  • Support measurement system analyses to maintain accuracy and consistency in quality assessments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S practices, to optimize workflows and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Ensure strict adherence to applicable standards, operating procedures (SOPs), and internal regulations.
  • This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a commitment to quality, the ability to identify and respond to deviations, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with EDP/IT systems, including MES.
  • Solid understanding of relevant Quality Management (QM) guidelines and standards.
  • Basic knowledge of test methods and measurement technologies.
  • Foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, including product and process workflows.

Additional Information

  • 8 hour shift : Monday - Friday
  • 6:45am - 3:15pm
