Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a "Quality Control Associate" based out of South San Francisco, CA.

 

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $29/hr on W2

The Bioassay Testing group supports clinical and commercial products by performing biochemical, immunological, and cell-based assays in a cGMP environment. This role contributes to process development, product characterization, stability, and lot release testing while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and release assay data (electronic and paper-based)
  • Prepare reagents and monitor assay performance and quality trends
  • Present assay results and support investigations as needed
  • Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA+ data integrity standards
  • Perform routine lab maintenance, support 5S initiatives, and follow EHS safety practices

 

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Biological Sciences with 1–2 years of QC or relevant laboratory experience
  • Hands-on experience with immunological and/or cell-based assays
  • Experience with aseptic cell culture and cGMP environments (required)
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with electronic documentation and data systems; experience with GxP systems (e.g., SoftMax Pro, LIMS, Veeva QMS) highly preferred
