Tasks and Qualifications:WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:Recommends, sets & drives goals & metrics relating to processes.
Support development of business processes with business units/functions owners, and assist in documenting, reviewing & control of these processes.
Champion & administers certification to management system standards or accreditations (ISO9001) with WHSE Lead (ISO45001 & ISO14001) in ASIA.
Actively drive Supplier Quality practices (pre-selection, PPAP, approval & ongoing evaluation including completing FAT).
Lead & support Quality activities during Project execution.
To regularly audit business functions & suppliers to ensure compliance to specifications, to Dematic quality processes (e.g. Quality Gates procedure) & applicable standards.
Actively ensure that the company is kept abreast of all applicable statutory requirements and that the Dematic systems is compliant.
Promotes continual improvement, shares & implements best practices, including standardising business processes.
Instigate corrective and preventative action and help manage quality issues that have occurred.
Administer management systems software (including companywide tools) for the ASIA region.
Coordinate information gathering & complete clients’ questionnaires pertaining to Quality.
Monitor & Report Quality performance to the Management and the policy & functional committees.
Plan, develop and conduct systems/process trainings; and identify external training providers as required.
Champion development of checking requirements e.g., inspection test sheet or documents for projects, all business functions.
Work closely with all business areas on any Quality matters, and the ANZ Quality functions.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor degree/Diploma in Engineering or related subject (Manufacturing, Technology, Science-related) OR Polytechnic qualification.
ISO9001:2015 QMS or Lead Auditor certification Bachelor degree/Diploma in Engineering or related subject (Manufacturing, Technology, Science-related) OR Polytechnic qualification
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality function (as a manager/lead, senior coordinator role)
Relevant industry experience (e.g., logistics & materials handling, project, construction, manufacturing)
Quality or EHS auditing and assessment
Applying quality in project-based organisation will be highly desirable
Background in manufacturing & construction industries will be highly regarded although not mandatory
Hands on skills & experience in operational Quality (e.g. project quality, supplier quality)
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills; able to work with diversity and varying demands
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and roll out systems
Strong attention to detail with company level reporting skills
Skills Required
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related subject

- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality function
- Relevant industry experience (logistics, materials handling, etc.)
