We are now seeking an experienced Quality Automation Tester to join the team.

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for defining, coordinating, and promoting the QA Automation standards and practices across our line of SQA Function, ensuring the highest quality of delivery and solutions are being provided to our internal customers.

The person in this position is responsible for driving Software test automation and proper functionality of L&W systems, games and products.

Essential Job Functions:

  • At least 3+ years’ experience working with test automation

  • As a person - you are proactive, flexible, and organized, you enjoy collaborating with others and also know how to give and receive constructive feedback

  • Experience working with Jira or similar defect management tools

  • Proficient in developing test plans, designing and executing tests using QTest/NetGen or Similar tools

  • Experience partnering and/or collaborating across multiple disciplines.

  • Leading the identification, selection, and implementation of tools, technologies, and practices that support the overall QA process automation.

  • Managing complex issues, defects, and incidents and facilitation of defect triage ceremonies.

  • Develop test automation strategy and test criteria to ensure slot machine products meet business requirements

  • Work with teams to drive automation to improve test coverage, quality and reduce game testing timelines.

  • Demonstrate expert test automation technical knowledge that can be used to guide the team to drive automation.

  • Establish automation goals and metrics to drive continuous improvements and automation.

  • Define objectives and key results for automation, devise plans to meet the objectives and communicate those via roadmaps to technical leadership.

  • Grow the test automation skills, experience, and autonomy of the team through mentorship and coaching.

  • Ensure automated tests are executed and the resulting defect logs are managed.

  • Identifying and reporting problematic functions, performance concerns, and inconsistencies to development teams.

  • Coordinating with QA team members, Developers, Project Managers, and Clients to resolve issues.

  • Leading Technical and Use Case review meetings for various functionalities to be automated

  • Function as a QA Engineering partner to the business to evangelize QA automation

  • Research and investigation into innovative technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance and optimize our automated pipelines

Qualifications:

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • Solid understanding of automation, testing principles, testing types, methodologies and modern software development practices.

  • Hands on experience building automation frameworks, coding and driving automation initiatives.

  • Experience building test plans, test cases, and test scenarios and feature automation.

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated ability to cooperate in cross-functional work teams toward task completion.

  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.

  • Work closely with other teams to ensure the release of quality products.

  • Identify and implement action plans for the testing automation roadmap and executing it

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in software automation, quality testing and assurance with a very high attention to detail.

  • Technical troubleshooting/problem solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic environment with a diversity of professional people

  • Proficiency in software quality testing automation with a very high attention to detail.

  • A strong sense of ownership, with a proactive nature, and a drive to accomplish objectives and drive a team to success.

  • Hands on technical experience required to automate testing and drive automation across SQA Team

Highly Regarded Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, Teamcity, and/or GitLab

  • Gaming experience will be highly regarded.

  • Knowledge of agile workflows and scrum

  • Experience working as a team lead/scrum master, or equivalent

  • Used version control systems before, such as Git, Perforce, or SVN

  • Worked previously with game development for PC and current generation of consoles

  • Knowledge from other parts of games development, production, and/or publishing
