DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provides direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of Quality Assurance engineers, as well as guidance to product and business teams. Develops high-quality automation testing code, which covers functional, regression testing, performance and pre-post release tests. Drives decision that influence the product technology selection, continuous integration, deployment and monitoring processes. Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in the areas of quality assurance and continuous delivery. Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of agility, firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle. Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Quality Assurance, Quality Management Lead, QA Lead, QA Engineer, Quality Assurance Consultant- III, Staff Quality Assurance, QA, Consultant - QA, Sr. Setup Configuration Specialist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Developing, documenting, and revising system designs for quality assurance procedures, test procedures and quality standards; Setting direction and creating test strategies/plans for multiple application releases; Identifying and highlighting the software quality risks for every release to the management team and proposing a solution to mitigate; Experience working in Agile development methodologies; Experience working in agile teams and SDLC in a fast-paced environment; Experience working with BDD automation frameworks to automate regression test scenarios; Experience working with Cypress or any other automation tools available; Experience in writing automated testing code using JavaScript or Java or any other programming language; and Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab.
Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $178,000 - $190,000 per year.
