Job Description
We are committed to delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed industry standards. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead our quality initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
Responsibilities: As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems. Your responsibilities include:
- Direct and oversee assigned employees to ensure effective management systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, internal specifications, and customer expectations.
- Champion safety protocols within the plant.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance the management system.
- Work closely with engineering to document IQ, OQ, and PQ validations.
- Conduct thorough audits, including inspections, process audits, testing, and final release.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead project teams.
- Maintain and develop the statistical control system (Infinity) for quality metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Partner with Texwipe Sales for customer interactions and audits.
- Manage and report weekly on quality assurance spending.
- Optimize resource allocation for efficiency.
- Lead safety programs within the department.
- Ensure adherence to company, department, safety, and ISO policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience in ISO systems implementation, document control, and statistical process control.
- Computer literacy in spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation graphics.
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing methods, materials, and processes.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business literature, technical procedures, and regulations.
- Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
- Advanced mathematical skills
- Apply practical, logical and scientific thinking.
- Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses).
- Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
- May require special gowning for contamination-critical environments
