True North Maine, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s Quality Assurance Team based out of our facility located in our Machiasport, Maine facility.

The Role
The Quality Assurance Supervisor position is an entry level position that requires a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in maintaining established standards of safety, quality and accuracy. As a leader you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met.
Specific responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
- Oversees daily quality assurance activities to ensure compliance;
- Evaluating risk assessments and identify gaps;
- Coordinates verification programs;
- Point of contact for customer base;
- Providing site specific training to personnel;
- Tracking data required for all internal and external regulatory reports;
- Leading internal and external audits;
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and computer skills. You work well in a busy environment and manage conflicting priorities with ease. A keen eye for detail, you are a driven professional who demonstrates initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive team oriented work environment.
