Now, we're looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team and help ensure the highest quality standards across our operations. This is an onsite role based at our Bellshill facility, with flexible and remote working options to support your lifestyle.
Job Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have a central role in driving compliance and continuous improvement within our Quality Management System (QMS), aligned to ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, tackling challenges and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our sites. Your mission will include:
- Maintaining critical quality processes – from equipment control to deviation management and handling non-conforming materials.
- Leading corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) – delving into root cause analyses, implementing solutions, and tracking their success.
- Auditing with purpose – performing internal audits, collaborating on improvements, and ensuring standards are upheld.
- Reviewing batch records and supporting quality training initiatives – helping our people and systems grow stronger together.
Your work will be crucial to maintaining our reputation as leaders in quality and collaboration across our Bellshill and Dexter sites.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in quality assurance within a regulated industry (e.g., biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices).
- Expert knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 standards and hands-on experience with root cause analysis tools such as 5-Why or 8D.
- Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset to engage with different teams effectively.
- Educational background – A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline. Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or ISO Lead Auditor would be advantageous.
