Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
Your Responsibilities:
• Maintain ISO documented information for the facility, including writing, revising, and training employees on work instructions and forms
• Generate KPI, quality, and safety data for management reports using various e-data systems
• Review production documentation for compliance with quality standards and analyze discrepancies or issues
• Perform internal audits and compliance assessments of production and quality systems
• Support production in maintaining calibration of all equipment used for ISO activities
• Create and issue eCARs/NCMRs when necessary
• Assist management in implementing and maintaining plant quality levels
• Provide support during customer and third-party audit activities
Your Shift:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (8-hour shift)
You Must Have:
• Quality-oriented background with knowledge of operating procedures in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid mathematical skills and high attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of safety standards
Requirements within this position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
• Experience with ISO 9001 standards
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Lean Six Sigma certification
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to 72,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
