The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and services within the electronics manufacturing industry meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. QA Specialist will manage quality, conducting audits, investigating internal quality issues, customer complaints, supplier interaction, Material Review Board (MRB) non-conformances, implementing corrective & preventive actions (CAPA), and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

  • Reduction in defect rates and quality incidents; Audit compliance scores; Timely resolution of quality issues; Customer satisfaction related to product/service quality.
  • Effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions; Process improvement implementation success.

What you'll do

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and quality control processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Supply Chain, Planning, Customer Service, Engineering, etc.), Customer and Supplier to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
  • Conduct Material Review Board (MRB) activities, identify defects, and disposition quarantined materials/products.
  • Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, non-conformances, and support root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Interact with suppliers to the extent required in terms of Quality.
  • Document results, audit findings, corrective actions, Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and quality records.
  • Maintain quality documentation, including inspection checklists, engineering drawings, and dimensional reports.
  • Able to work on Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), such as ISO Express.
  • Conduct internal audits and support compliance with regulatory requirements and IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Establish priorities for PCB Assemblies and Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide quality-related training and guidance to employees.
  • Participate in Production meetings, and drive Quality meetings as required.

What you'll need to get the job done

    • Diploma or degree in Quality.
    • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, compliance, or a related role.
    • Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 and AS9001D).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
    • Diligence; Root cause analysis; Data analysis and reporting; Process improvement; Documentation management; Problem-solving.

$60,000 - 65,000

Skills Required
