Position: Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Panama City, FL

Position description: The Quality (QA) Assurance Specialist provides quality engineering support to the Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) Support Services (LSS) CODE E32.  The QA Specialist evaluates and monitors engineering efforts during analysis, design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, builds, and installs.  The QA Specialist duties require supporting development of processes and procedures to ensure engineering design, development, prototyping, and testing are of an acceptable quality.  The QA Specialist will help manage the LSS safety program.  The QA Specialist will also be required to manage the corrective action and disposition system and provide monthly Quality Assurance Technical reports. 

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma
• Minimum Years of Experience Required: 4 Years
• Related Functions: Quality Assurance, QA, Quality Control, QC, Process Compliance

Tasks:

• Execute tasks using appropriate processes.
• Manage quality and safety aspects of systems and equipment.
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Devise sampling procedures, design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluate and report quality and reliability data.
• Establish quality programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) production equipment and testing.
• Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and responsibility.
• Compile and write training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
• Manage the quality control program.
