The Arc Madison CortlandNew Hire Rate: Starting at $17.00, dependent on experience and qualifications 

SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist assists the Practice Manager and the Director of Clinic Services with ensuring that processes, clinical documentation and services meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role includes supporting credentialing, conducting audits, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating on process improvement efforts such as:

  • Provides detail-focused reviews of clinical documentation to ensure quality, regulatory compliance and audit-readiness.
  • Conducts monthly utilization reviews to meet compliance requirements for quarterly reviews.
  • Provides analysis of audits completed and identify any patterns in the data and areas where improvement may be needed. 
  • Assists new staff with completing and submitting licensing credentialing paperwork.
  • Provides training of the EHR for new staff members and support clinical and administrative staff with ongoing support, through the role of a Superuser.

Requirements

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience working in a healthcare or human services organization. An Associates Degree required, preferably in a human services field. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have an ability to meet deadlines. Strong user of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software including eClinicalWorks. Knowledgeable of requirements of accrediting and regulatory agencies preferred.
