The Airborne Systems Operations, part of the Defense Sector at Leidos, currently has multiple openings for a Quality Assurance (QA) Representative located within multiple locations including: Wright Patterson AFB in Beavercreek, OH, Eglin AFB in Pensacola, FL and Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force Research Lab, Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, and other DoD missions. Your role will be to support our diverse portfolio of programs through a combination of software design and development, hardware interfacing and integration, laboratory experimentation, ground and flight testing to deploy cutting edge software and hardware solutions.
Primary Responsibilities.

Responsible for performing software quality assurance including requirements analysis, clarification and tracking, testing, verification and validation of autonomous core system solutions

Identify a set of project-specific characteristics, applicable processes, approved tailoring, and project implementation for each process to create and maintain a Tailored Process Baseline

Quickly learn and apply new tools and technology as related to the program’s Quality Assurance requirements

Conduct site and program requirement compliance audits to ISO 9001 and AS9100

Ensure control and compliance of subcontractors to SOW, customer requirement and standards

Quickly learn and apply new tools and technology as related to the program’s Quality Assurance requirements

Internally lead effort for site maintaining and sustaining quality AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications/credentials.

Proactively address internal and external corrective action requests (CAR), perform detailed root cause analysis, identify containment, preventive and corrective actions

Actively prepare and brief quality management review data and status quarterly

Coordinate and/or present weekly, monthly quarterly and annual reports

Perform continuous improvement activities

Review, comment and approve deliverable documents

Provide timely measurements and audit outcomes

Effectively communicate ideas and information

Provide support in an extremely fast paced research environment across multiple projects/programs

Schedule and Conduct Process Compliance and Product Audits

Conduct final quality analysis of product prior to customer delivery

Participate in the planning of Quality activities for the program(s)
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of general experience; or a Master's Degree and 2+ years of general experience is required; 4 additional years of related experience or training or additional certification will be acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Extensive experience with ISO 9001: 2015, AS9100:2016, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011, CMMI-DEV v.1.3, and/or CMMI-SVC v.1.3 requirements and audit process

This position requires the ability to pass a background investigation with Dept. Of Defense

This position will be located at a Leidos facility.

A Top Secret security clearance is required for this position along with SCI eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications

ASQ Certifications (CQA, CQE, CQM, CQP) a plus

1-2 years of experience in a QA or process improvement role
-
Knowledge of and experience with ISO9001 implementation
-
Knowledge of and experience with CMMI Level 3 or higher implementation

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
