The Mandatory QA – Primary QA (Layer 1) is
responsible for independently validating and verifying remediated documents under
the Legacy Document Remediation Project for Bank. This role focuses solely on
identifying and reporting discrepancies without engaging in remediation
activities. It ensures correct indexing, accurate metadata extraction, and
proper file classification in accordance with Banks’s DMS policy through a
structured validation approach.
Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assess the folder structure to ensure documents are
logically and consistently fragmented based on predefined document types.
· Verify that each folder contains only documents
relevant to its assigned type, and that no document overlaps across multiple
categories.
2. Documentation Indexing Check
· Verify the four key indexing parameters: CIF,
Account Number, Document Type, and Date of Acquisition.
· Cross-check parameters with the 'Request Metadata
File'.
· Mark any missing or inaccurate parameter as document
failure, leading to CIF failure if any document fails.
· Log discrepancies and generate reports.
3. Metadata Completeness & Accuracy Check
· Confirm all required metadata fields are captured
for each document type.
· Cross-reference with mandatory attributes provided
by bank.
· Report missing metadata and mark the document as
failed if any required field is missing.
· Validate that extracted metadata values match
actual document content.
· Use the 'Request Metadata File’ and document content
for cross-validation.
· Mark the document as failed for any discrepancies
and report the findings.
4. Missing Document Report Check
· Assess whether a Missing Document Report is
available for each CIF where applicable.
· Validate the accuracy and completeness of the
report by cross-referencing against the required document checklist.
· Ensure that all missing document entries are
correctly identified, documented, and aligned with the actual gaps in the CIF’s
documentation set.
