About the Role:
- Provide cost and contract administration services to support project delivery and ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements.
- Carry out cost control to ensure that material procurement and tender schedules remain within the allocated project budget.
- Prepare financial projections and manage budgetary and expenditure control for contractors’ contracts prior to and throughout project execution.
- Review and assess contractors’ claims, including conducting joint measurements and recommending monthly progress payments and final accounts for timely submission.
- Administer term contracts before and after commencement of works, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Compile, verify, and certify contractors’ invoices to ensure alignment with Purchase Orders and Works Orders.
- Prepare tender documents, review specifications, evaluate submissions, and provide recommendations for contract awards.
- Manage contract documentation related to tender acceptance and contract execution.
- Monitor and manage performance bonds, bankers’ guarantees, and insurance requirements.
- Prepare variation agreements and provide professional advice on contractual matters, including penalties and liquidated damages where necessary.
- Ensure proper closure of final accounts upon project completion.
About You:
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Strong experience in cost control, contract administration, and financial management of projects
- Proven capability in tender preparation, evaluation, and procurement processes
- Experience in managing contractors’ claims, progress payments, and final accounts
- Familiar with contract documentation, variation management, and statutory compliance
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and certify financial and contractual documents accurately
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams
