Reports To - Parker Wightman: Senior Director of Engineering

About The Role
Jump is looking for a US-based QA Lead to lead a team of full‑time global QA contractors while improving QA systems across the organization and eventually balancing work as QA lead and as an individual contributor.
You’ll operationalize our quality bar across our many features so advisors experience a smooth, effortless experience with their AI meeting assistant, meeting analytics, privacy and compliance, and other Jump offerings. This role blends people leadership, process design, and hands‑on testing. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer teams to ship quickly and confidently.

Lead and level‑up a distributed team of QA contractors (onboarding, coaching, performance feedback).
Managing a team of full time and contract employees.
Hire additional QA contractors via Upwork as needed.
Maintain Jump’s current QA processes and recommend updates in documentation and manual and automatic processes.
Partner with Product/Eng to ensure requirements are testable, edge cases are captured, and evaluation rubrics are clear and repeatable.
Serve as a floating QA IC: work closely with the product managers to unblock engineers and QA feature updates before they are released.
With support engineers, maintain and build dashboards for quality KPIs and drive continual improvement.
Foster a no‑drama, direct‑and‑kind culture that moves with velocity and high quality.
