Position Summary
ECS is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards across all phases of software development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. This position is integral to maintaining compliance with performance, cybersecurity, and documentation requirements, thereby ensuring the operational readiness and effectiveness of the enterprise IT program.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee quality assurance governance activities throughout the software lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce quality standards and validation procedures for software artifacts.
- Conduct compliance audits and track corrective actions to ensure adherence to technical and functional requirements.
- Coordinate defect resolution and process improvements with development and engineering teams.
- Implement quality governance practices that support configuration management and release control.
- Provide oversight of testing activities to ensure deliverables meet Government performance standards.
- Ensure alignment of software development with enterprise compliance and cybersecurity requirements.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams to support quality objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Secret Eligible required
- S. Citizenship required
- DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Intermediate proficiency level
- Certifications (one or more required): CSSLP, GCLD, GSEC
- Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing governance in DoD or Federal IT environments
- Proven experience leading QA activities in Agile, DevSecOps, or structured SDLC environments
- Demonstrated ability to conduct compliance audits and coordinate corrective actions
- Experience in establishing and maintaining quality standards and validation procedures
- Strong capability in overseeing testing activities and ensuring deliverables align with operational objectives
